My name is Mandy Webster, and I like to write. I’ve considered myself a serious writer since I was a kid writing short stories and children’s books in my “gifted” writing class. I spent several years working in finance as a young adult, but a few years ago, I decided it was time I started writing for a living, considering that’s what I do best. 

I still do a bit of creative writing but now specialize in SEO copywriting, social media integration, and optimization of the small business website to meet digital marketing objectives. I am also an adjunct instructor at Moraine Park Technical College where I teach a variety of courses, including Business Technology and Innovation, Business Communication, and Written Communication.

I regularly participate in a variety of digital marketing and public relations activities ranging from building and optimizing websites for small businesses and non-profit organizations to building my own professional “brand” via my online portfolio, blog, and social media outlets. I have experience with conducting web research and using analytical tools such as Google Adwords for effective keyword management. I am even writing an ebook on how to develop a small business website that is properly optimized to meet the organization’s digital marketing objectives.

I possess a unique mix of business and writing experience that I know will make me a valuable asset to any project I take on. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Business Management and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in writing at Mount Mary College. 

In addition to my love of writing, I also have a passion for social media and other tools required for marketing the small business in the digital age. I am a believer in lifelong learning, and I look forward to imparting the knowledge I have gained to my students both at Moraine Park Technical College and on the World Wide Web while also continuing my own education.
